We know now that our attentions spans are shorter than a goldfish’s. Unfortunately, our days don’t consist of swimming in circles. We have responsibilities that require a longer attention span to get the job done. Luckily, there are some quick tips to increase your focus. Stay hydrated. Dehydration affects all parts of your body, including your mind. So carry around plenty of water wherever you go, especially when you’re headed to a big meeting or presentation. And while you’re at that meeting, ask questions! While some might argue whether or not there’s such thing as a stupid question, when you ask good questions, you’re keeping yourself engaged and it allows you to learn something new while contributing to the conversation.
