Imagine a museum where the only things on display are furry creatures that greet you with purrs and meows when you walk through the door. And what if at the end of the day, you could leave with a new feline friend? Thanks to Jessica Seet, owner of the Cat Museum at Purvis Street in Singapore, the space is dedicated as a safe haven for both her own pets and rescued cats up for adoption. The adoption floor is approximately the size of a typical Singapore apartment where cats can frolic and lie about while visitors and potential pet parents meander through the space. Some of the kitties are even named after celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. We imagine it’s hard to leave empty-handed when you’re being shadowed by a Maine Coon named Channing Tatum.
It’s also a way to encourage people to adopt these adorable furballs.
